We have a Cosalt torino 10 x 31 static Caravan 1995 with ​caravan venetian blinds, on a park in East Wittering Sussex, currently. We have now been advised that the van is too old and we have to remove it.

The owners are looking to charge for this and to be perfectly candid we do not want to leave the van with them at all. So we are looking for a static caravan breakers near me who would do this with minimal cost to ourselves, - ideally would cover the costs we will have to pay and maybe a small bit on top for the willerby caravan furniture.

It was well run and the wardens were smiley, polite and friendly - and we enjoyed our stay and will return etc.

That started us thinking that the tradition of the two English clubs in selecting older people to be wardens made the club feel old. Wouldn't it be better to see a mix of ages including some students behind the desk on check in?

I agree the young can be more welcoming than a smile and some help and the young can be very energetic in helping out.

Can't see anything wrong in having younger people as wardens or deputies. However I suspect the demands of running a Club site tends to appeal to those who have been made redundant at a time in their lives when full retirement is not an option or other similar circumstances. 

It is difficult to compare European sites where a lot of youngsters work for a couple of months in the main season, could be a bit different if you turn up in the middle of November if, indeed, the site is still open unlike a lot of club sites which are open all year.

Went to york caravan park for friends birthday bash and called in caravan breakers Yorkshire looking for caravan window shutters it was run by a young man what he lacked in experience he made up for in enthusiasm and willingness to help out. With wardens like that, I might have booked in with the rally.

I would imagine the 2 tonne rated hitch would be the size required. The reason for the change is due to an updated car with a swan neck ball hitch.. Thank you for your help.

Camper Electronics

Hiya, I have a horsebox/lorry that includes a living area. I have camper electronics, a gas fridge and gas cooker installed but no hot or cold water. Please do you have the parts available from a caravan that would be suitable for me to fit into my horsebox? I know I will need a external wheelie water carrier, a pump to go in it, the socket for the side of the lorry for the pipes connecting to the sink, hot and cold water pipes, a hot/cold water tap, and of course a water heater, which will have to run off the gas bottle or otherwise I will have to install a electric hook-up..but horse shows charge a fortune (!) to use this facility so if its at all possible to find caravan blind spares and a gas heater, that would be great!
