Scratched or Dull Acrylic WindowsProblem:

• Acrylic caravan windows can become scratched or cloudy over time.

Fix:

• Use a specialized acrylic polish or scratch remover.
• Apply with a microfiber cloth in a circular motion until the scratch fades.
• For deep scratches, lightly sand with fine wet-and-dry sandpaper (1000-2000 grit), then polish.

Cracked or Broken Window

Problem:

• Small cracks can expand due to temperature changes.
• Large cracks may require a full replacement.

Fix:

• Temporary Fix: Use acrylic adhesive or a strong sealant like Sikaflex for small cracks.
• Permanent Fix: Replace the window panel if the crack spreads or compromises security.

Condensation Between Double-Glazed Window Panes

• Moisture gets trapped inside double-glazed caravan windows, causing fogging.

Fix:

• Drill a small vent hole (2-3mm) in the lower part of the outer pane to allow air circulation.
• Leave the caravan in a dry environment and let the moisture evaporate.
