Hi to all at scrap caravan buyers my wife and I own an Avondale Rialto 480-2 caravan (2001 - anniversary edition) It was in very good condition when we last used it but, due to medical reasons, we have not been able to use it for two years and now I cannot get the brakes to work. 

The wheels are free to rotate and the tow hitch is also in working condition but I am reluctant to attempt to tow it with our car without working brakes on the caravan. This was a luxury caravan when new - very well equipped with blinds and flyscreens on all windows and door. Should be OK as a scrap caravan for sale complete or for parts.

The upholstery is in good condition (if a little faded by the sun in places ) and we have never had any leaks or damp in it. All the internal equipment was in full working order when we last used it - including gas cooker, fridge (12v, 230v and gas) I believe it will be a great scrap caravans for sale near me but I don't want the bother.

Trumatic space heater and central heating (230v or gas), water heater (230v or gas), water pump (plus a spare pump), Toilet Cassette, There are two butane gas cylinders and a regulator in the van ( both cylinders full, I think) and I also have a full propane cylinder (same size - so will go in the cylinder cupboard) We had our old static caravans for sale last year with no success.

Propane is needed if winter touring is proposed (an idea utterly rejected by my wife - so this one is definitely unused!) The caravan is fitted with a motor mover with a remote controller - which works - except that at present only one of the wheel motors responds to the controller (this is still under investigation) Should not put you off the buy old caravan process.

I have seen a lot worse old touring caravans for sale, the tyres are virtually new - and there is a spare. In addition we have two rolling water barrels, and a rolling waste water disposal unit . We had a full awning of top quality - but unfortunately the awning was put in separate storage in a garage and was attacked by mice.

(should have left it in the van - where it would have been perfectly safe) so we only have the frame for that one. We do have a smaller porch awning which is virtually unused. This one was stored in the van - so was safe from rodent attack. The old caravan for sale has been stored at our daughter's property in West Wittering, West Sussex, PO20. 

Where we used to live - but due to advancing years we moved into a flat two years ago. We have decided that we are unlikely to make any further use of the caravan so our old small caravans for sale - and our daughter would like it gone!
